Check out TouchWiz on Galaxy Tab 10.1

If you’ve purchased a Galaxy Tab 10.1 you’ll be excited to see the video below because it shows off what you can expect when the Android Honeycomb tablet gets the TouchWiz UX software.

Once you get beyond the funky game show like music at the beginning and the touting of how thin the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is (it is super duper thin), you’ll see Samsung talk about the platform. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 3.1 and this enables things like better multitasking, access to Google’s movie rental service and the ability to use the tablet as a USB host.

We’ve seen much of that before and covered it in the review but what’s neat to see is Samsung’s custom software. We get a look at the reader software which includes e-books and newspapers, as well as the ability to make notes and share clips with Facebook friends.

Some more features of TouchWiz and Samsung’s custom software on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be the Music Hub. This looks like a visually pleasing way to rock out on your tablet but I’m not sure how necessary this is if you’re already using Google Music. The Samsung version will let you buy music from 7Digital though, which is a feature that Google’s service lacks.

The other tweaks to TouchWiz on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 don’t look all too different from what we saw earlier this year but it’s definitely much more refined. Check out the video below and let us know what you think, friends.
