HTC One S now available at T-Mobile for $199

We’ve had our way with the international versions but now the T-Mobile version of the One S is officially available, with the AT&T One X on its way soon. Both are powerful handset that can take on the likes of any handset on the market today but of the two, if you’re interested in the slimmest handset without sacrificing power, the One S should suit you well.

The T-Mobile version of the One S may not have the Micro Arc Oxidation of the international One S but we’re really liking the blue gradient finish on the handset. It actually provides a better contrast than the black unit, allowing one to see the interesting effect HTC has done with the profile of the device. It’s a beautiful handset that feels great in the hand and we can imagine it will be one of T-Mobile’s best-selling phones for some time.

In case you haven’t gotten a chance to read our review of the international version yet, the One S rocks a solid spec sheet, all while keeping a super thin profile. Specs include a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8 Megapixel ImageSense camera, VGA front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage with 25GB of free cloud storage from DropBox, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Sense 4.0, and more.

T-Mobile is allowing customers to trade in old phones for credit, and you can grab this bad boy in the promotion. If you’re looking for a new phone on T-Mobile right now, it really doesn’t get much better than the HTC One S. If you’re craving a slightly bigger screen or aren’t a huge fan of the Sense UI, the Galaxy S II would easily be the runner-up to go to.

Anyone trading in their old phone to pick up the One S today?
