Remember the Acer Iconia Tab A110, which the Taiwanese company unveiled at Computex in June? Well, it will be available in the UK in September, when it will face Google’s Nexus 7 with aggressive pricing. The 7-inch tablet will cost 179 GBP, packing pretty much the same guts as Google’s tablet plus a microSD card slot. Its 8GB of built-in storage may sound tiny, but you can easily insert a microSD card and increase the capacity to 40GB. Try doing the same with Nexus 7.

Sure enough, the Iconia Tab A110 users shouldn’t expect to get the same timely firmware updates as their Nexus 7 counterparts, but as I just said – you have more space to store as many movies as you can. And when you’re full, simply insert another microSD card and you’re good to go.

All said, we can’t really suggest picking Acer’s tablet over Nexus 7 as you’ll have a number of accessories to choose from if you grab Google’s device.
