T-mobile is stepping up to become the first major carrier to give Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus owners some Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). This is normally a ridiculously drawn out process because folks who happen to own carrier-connected tablets have to wait longer for their updates. Well, as of today, the fourth largest wireless provider in the U.S. is giving 7.0 Plus users some ICS goodness. Unfortunately, the update isn’t being sent by T-Mobile via OTA (over the air), but is made available by way of Samsung’s clunky software manager called Kies. I know, it’s a tedious process, but worth the extra hassle of getting off Gingerbread (Android 2.3).
If you happen to own the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, let us know how the update went in our comment section!
