Alongside the hot-new Sony Xperia TL, AT&T also unveiled the Huawei-made AT&T Fusion 2 for the prepaid crowd. It’s a low-end smartphone with specs that include a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 800MHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1,400mAh battery, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. Thanks to the dual-core CPU, you should get a decent experience though we’re not sure you’ll ever be able to taste Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean with it.

The new phone also comes with a new “unlimited” GoPhone plan, offering 1GB of data along with unlimited minutes and texts for just $65 per month. If you don’t need data — and you really need it with the Fusion 2 — there’s $50/month unlimited text and talk option.

You can get AT&T Fusion 2 for $99.99 from AT&T’s website.
