Samsung Rugby Pro landing on AT&T this Sunday for $100

Looking for a decent phone on AT&T that isn’t going to stretch pass the $100 threshold? Well, our first suggestion would be the HTC One X, as it’s likely the most powerful device in the price range. That said, if you need a handset that’s a little more rugged, then you might find that the Samsung Rugby Pro is right up your alley.

The Samsung Rugby Pro isn’t going to win any beauty contests.. at all. But it’s not meant to be pretty – it’s meant to keep the accident prone from killing it. The shock resistant, water and dust proof handset is built to military specifications, ensuring that this piece of kit can take a beating.

Other than its ruggedness, the Rugby Pro also rocks a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display and 5 megapixel camera that can shoot 720p HD video. Other than that, we’re pretty much in the dark when it comes to more information about the device.

If you’re looking for a simple and to the point rugged smartphone on the cheap, then this is probably going to be your best option on AT&T. Look for it on store shelves this Sunday!

If you have a bad case of butter fingers, or you’re just down right clumsy in all aspects of life, the Rugby Pro just might allow you to breath a sigh of relief when it comes to your next phone purchase.
