Virgin Mobile Canada will revamp its monthly plans, replacing the old Choice and Combo with tiered Silver, Gold and Platinum plans. Here are the details we’ve got compliments to the ever-savvy ninjas from MobileSyrup.
Silver plans
These plans include $150 off the retail price of the phone, ranging from $20 to $50 per month. Included in the deal are different amounts of daytime minutes, unlimited Canadian long distance, Unlimited Canada/US/International Text and Picture messaging, Voicemail, Call Display and various amounts of pay-per-use data. Available on a 30-day term or on the Virgin Mobile SuperTab.
Gold plans
You get up to $300 off the retail price of the phone as long as you commit to pay $35, $45 or $60 per month. That cash gets you unlimited Canadian long distance, Unlimited Canada/US/International Text and Picture messaging, Voicemail, Call Display and an allotment of data that ranges from 100MB to 1GB/month. Available on a 30-day term or on the Virgin Mobile SuperTab.
Platinum plans
Up to $500 off the retail price of the phone, these plans start at $55/month, then increase to $70/month and top out at $80/month. Platinum plans include 1,000 minutes or an unlimited offering, Canadian long distance, Unlimited Canadian Text, Video and Picture messaging, Voicemail, Call Display and “loads of data” that starts off at 150MB and caps out at 3GB/month. Platinum plans are available on a 30-day term or on a 3-year term.
Virgin Mobile will officially launch these new plans on Friday, January 25th.
