Samsung looking to ship 10 million Galaxy S IV units a month

While we still might be a couple of months away from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S IV, anticipation for the device certainly hasn’t waned. Samsung is more ambitious than ever with the Galaxy S IV, and has some pretty lofty goals when it comes to the sales of the device.

The South Korean site Money Today claims that Samsung has set a goal to sell 10 million Galaxy S IV units within a month, and maintain that number of monthly sales going forward. We don’t see that as an impossibility, but it did take Samsung almost two months to push out that number of the Galaxy S III. That said, if you didn’t pull the trigger for the Galaxy S III, you might just be looking to throw your cash at Samsung for the GS IV.

Rumors have pegged the official announcement of the Galaxy S IV for April. When the S IV finally hits on store shelves, it likely won’t take long until the Galaxy S IV is the most powerful device of the handset family, but pushing 10 million units a month is a lot of phones.

Expected to rock a 4.99′ inch HD display, Exynos 5 Octa processor, Mali-T658 GPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, and Android 4.2.1, The Galaxy S IV will be one hell of a phone when it begins to ship. If Samsung can get the device out to many countries out of the gate at once, it just might be able to meet the goal of 10 million units a mnoth.

What’s your take? Do you think Sammy can do it?
