Rumored HP Slatebook 10 X2 Rocks NVIDIA Tegra 4 and Android 4.2.2

HP’s attempts at the tablet market have been sad at best, but it looks like the company may attempt to right the wrong it’s done to the tablet market by making a device people may actually want to spend money on.

The rumored tablet, the Slatebook 10X 2, looks to be a high-end Android tablet that rocks the NVIDIA Tegra 4 and a 10 inch display. Said display’s resolution is currently unknown, but we’re hoping it will at least be squeezing in 1920 x 1080 pixels. The “book” part of the Slatebook alludes that the device will have a keyboard dock, much like the Windows 8-powered ENVY X2.

The name of the rumored tablet popped up in an AnTuTu benchmark, which divulged that the device will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and rock a NVIDIA Tegra 4 CPU with a clock speed of 1.8GHz. Not too shabby, HP.

Of course, we’re going to have to wait and see if the Slatebook 10 X2 is actually released, as HP is currently only in the low-end market of Android tablets, with the HP Slate 7 just recently launching for  $170.

Not only would we like to see HP take a stab at the high-end Android tablet market, we’d also like to see a NVIDIA Tegra 4-powered device hit the market as soon as possible.
