What you can see here is the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3X, which will be announced at some point next year, perhaps during CES in Las Vegas or Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The render we’ve got, presuming it’s real, shows a sexy looking device that has a screen with almost no bezel around. The unit you can see here sports a super-thin body and a powerful camera on the back, which [camera] will likely be its key selling point.

In fact, the Japanese company plans to offer few camera-centric accessories to sing along the Xperia Z3X, including the professional camera-grade flash, dedicated optical zoom and so on.

Awesome camera aside, this device will also come with a powerful 6.14-inch screen that relies on Sony’s Trimaster El OLED display technology and supports resolution of up to 2560 x 1152 pixels. Said screen is apparently superior to conventional OLED panels, capable of producing “unrivaled levels of black, accurate gamma, high levels of contrast and dynamic range, wide color space and high consistency and stability.” Thus far Sony only used it [screen] in bigger devices and this could be the first smartphone/phablet with such display.

In addition, the Sony Xperia Z3X is supposedly going to rock Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC, at least 3GB of RAM, along with all other “usual for high-end smartphones” bells and whistles. Sounds like a dream phone, though we’re not sure that’s exactly what Sony is working on. Waiting and seeing is pretty much all we can do…
