Rogers Wireless decided to spice-up its offering by adding that nowadays important Web 2.0 element, hence they’ve signed a deal with MySpace to provide its users with quick and easy access to their MySpace accounts directly from their handsets. Under the agreement, Rogers will be the exclusive provider of MySpace Mobile service in Canada, and will allow its subscribers to use their phones (selected models, I guess) to post comments or blog entries, search for friends, respond to mail, update/edit profile, and view bulletins — all while on-the-go.
There you have it – MySpace got another distribution partners, while Rogers added additional service to its offering. Is this a win-win situation, or what?
