Qwest is teaming up with Sanyo to release a Pink version of the Sanyo Katana, SCP-2400 and SCP-3100 handsets to help the Susan G. Komen for The Cure. Ten percent of retail sales of the handsets will go toward the Cure – with a $50,000minimum donation, up to a maximum donation of $100,000. The handsets will be available through Qwest’s 100 retail locations and online store serving the 14-state coverage area for the wireless provider.
This is the second year that Sanyo and Qwest have joined forces to help promote awareness of breast cancer and we have to give it up to the duo for their philanthropic efforts!
