Telus has officially launched the ‘shock and vibration resistant’ Motorola V750. Sheesh, I should hope the device is vibration resistant, it does have a vibrate feature built-in, doesn’t it? I would hate for my device to fall apart every time it vibrates. :)

All kidding aside, if you’re looking for a nice little phone, one that is rugged and can take a few licks, the Motorola V750 might be right up your alley. This flip phone meets U.S. Military specs for all sorts of conditions, including extreme temperatures, fluid resistance, rain, humidity, immersion, sand and dust… and the list goes on. Trust me, the thing is built to last.

The Telus Motorola V750 weighs 111 grams, has a 2MP camera on-board with video capabilities, and has a bunch of on-device apps you’ll come to love. There’s a 2.5 mm earphone jack, and the device can hold up to 8GB of music. The display measures-in at 1.6 x 2.2 inches and has a resolution of 240 x 320.

Pick the Motorola V750 up from Telus for $199.99 (on a 3-year contract), $299.99 (2-year), or $349.99 (1-year). If you’d rather not be tied down to a contract, you can pick it up contract-free for $399.99.
