High-profile cameraphones from LG, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Nokia, and even Samsung themselves are expected to put a renewed focus on the cameraphone market. Samsung is now rumored to be announcing a new 8 megapixel cameraphone in the near future. And, seeing as how Mobile World Congress is just around the corner, it stands to reason that Samsung will unveil their new cameraphone monster in Barcelona.

The unnamed Samsung 8 megapixel handset bears Anycall branding, and features an Omnia-esque touchscreen display running an updated Samsung TouchWiz UI. The 8 megapixel camera rides shotgun alongside a Xenon flash module that promises to brighten-up any low-light pictures.

We’re left wanting for more details on this Korea-bound handset, but with a little luck, we’ll have more details on this little beauty at Mobile World Congress in February.
