Fwix for iPhone

The local news website Fwix is working on a dedicated iPhone application. The idea is to recruit regular iPhone-ownin’ citizens as reporters and contributors.

Users will be able to take photos and videos, as well as write text content, and post it all to Fwix website within seconds.

Of course, the iPhone app will also enable users to follow the latest news from their city, and access all of the Fwix content while on-the-go. And in case you’re wondering, at the moment Fwix collects links to local news articles from various newspapers and blogs in 85 cities. Adding the iPhone reporting to the mix could significantly increase the usage and traffic…

UPDATE: Fwix is in the AppStore!
