Samsung Think-Pink Star S5230

Samsung has prepared another version of its highly popular all-touchscreen handset – Star S5230, aka Tocco Lite in the UK. This time, however, it’s not just the new color the Star has — it’s also the cause. The so called Samsung Star Think-Pink edition comes with a cancer ribbon at the back of the device and was created in partnership with Think-Pink, an organization that spreads awareness against breast cancer. Starting from October 1st and till the end of December, interested users will be able to grab the special edition handset for 149 EUR. For every phone sold, the Korean company will donate 10 EUR to Think-Pink! Great marketing and the right thing to do. Way to go Samsung!

The Samsung Star is a great phone that will shortly be available as WiFi phone! So maybe it is wise just to wait a while for the WiFi version to come to Europe. But then again supporting Pink Ribbon is also a very good thing to do.
