Ovi Mail 2.0 is out and the big news is integration of Ovi Mail contacts and Ovi Contacts into a single list. You can view, edit, delete or create new contacts from both Ovi Contacts or Ovi Mail, as well as sync your mobile phonebook with any (or both) of the services.
According to Nokia Beta Labs’ blog post, this was the most desired feature by Ovi Mail users and it makes perfect sense to have a single address book instead of many.
The other big news of this release is support for the Arabic language. Apparently, this is not a simple as it may sound, considering the fact that Arabic is a right-to-left language.
There are over 280 million people who use Arabic as their first language and there’s no doubt Nokia wants to address such a large market.
Hop over to mail.ovi.com and try the brand new Ovi Mail for yourself.
