LG Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 with LTE connectivity announced

Remember those two LG F-Series devices we’ve seen few days ago? Well, they’ve been officially announced by the Korean company and we’re looking forward to play with both phones while in Barcelona.

As you know from our previous post, we’re talking about mid-end LTE-enabled smartphones that run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and which should appeal to the mass market (or at least LG hopes so). Here are the specs:

LG Optimus F5

  • 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
  • 4.3-inch IPS screen
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one
  • 8GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot
  • 2,150mAh battery
  • Size: 126.0 x 64.5 x 9.3 mm

LG Optimus F7

  • 1.5 GHz dual-core processor
  • 4.7-inch True HD IPS screen (312 pp)
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one
  • 8GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot
  • 2,540mAh battery
  • Size: 131.7 x 68.2 x 9.6 mm

The Optimus F5 will start selling in Q2 in Europe, followed soon by the Optimus F7 in select markets. Exact timing and pricing will be revealed at a later date…
