One of the best Twitter clients around, TweetDeck is facing an untimely demise of its app on iOS, Android and AIR. Twitter had announced last month that it would be sending the mobile version of TweetDeck to the guillotine, but the desktop and web versions are still intact. Twitter is also cutting Facebook integration from the remaining versions of Tweetdeck. Thanks to a Bluetooth filing and a User Agent Profile on Sprint’s website,we now have information that points to the release of an LG device which could be an updated Optimus G Pro, or a new handset altogether coming to the network later this year. The leak shows a handset called the LS980, which runs on Android 4.2.2 and touts a 1080p screen. The model number is in line with AT&T’s Optimus G Pro model number of E980. According to a new rumor from SamMobile, Samsung is planning on releasing a device called the Galaxy S4 Zoom, which looks like it will be a Galaxy S4 with a 16 megapixel camera, but with slight more modest specs. Earlier today, Sony announced the availability of its Sony Xperia Z and a price drop for its Xperia ZL smartphones in its online store. Shortly thereafter, Sony revealed another announcement, the availability of the Xperia SP for pre-order. The HTC One just got a little bit hotter. A red version of HTC’s flagship handset has been spotted online in the U.K. on mobile phone retailer Handtec’s website. Don’t equate the red color with Verizon, however, as we still are unsure of even the less flashy models coming to the carrier. The red HTC One comes with 32GB of storage, and is priced at £419.99. Samsung has released a new commercial that showcases the features of the Samsung Galaxy S4 , at Apple’s expense. The video, which is in line with Samsung’s earlier commercials lightly bashes the iPhone 5 by showcasing some of the bells and whistles that are packed into the Samsung Galaxy S4. Acer has unveiled the Acer Iconia A1 today, packing a quad-core 1.2GHz MediaTek processor and a 7.9-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 768 screen resolution. Owners of Barnes and Noble’s Nook HD and HD+ are finally getting Google apps on their devices.
