Virgin Mobile Offers $100 to Customers Who Ditch T-Mobile

Virgin Mobile is taking on T-Mobile’s new un-carrier plans by launching a pre-paid plan campaign of their own, dubbed “Retrain your brain.” Virgin is offering existing T-Mobile pre-paid customers $100 to switch to its pre-paid service, which operates on Sprint’s network. To take advantage of Virgin’s $100 credit, T-Mobile customers must choose from one of Virgin’s phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G or the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, pick one of Virgin’s pre-paid plans and make a payment by May 31, 2013. HTC kicks off big HTC One Experience tour in the US

HTC is taking the US by storm this spring with its HTC One handset. To promote the device before launch, HTC is kicking off an experience tour that’ll showcase the device in 11 major US markets. T-Mobile pushing update that’ll let unlocked iPhones use its LTE network

T-Mobile is readying its support for its upcoming iPhone on its AWS network. We’ve known for some time now that the iPhone 5 doesn’t support T-Mo’s 1700 MHz 3G band but it can be modified to work. T-Mobile officially announced its new pre-paid “Un-carrier” model today at a press event in New York, detailing pricing and device availability. T-Mobile to start selling the Galaxy S 4 on May 1st, $99 down payment

In the closing remarks at its Un-carrier event, T-Mobile announced it will start selling the Galaxy S 4 on May 1st. According to BGR, T-Mobile will sell the device for $99 up front with a monthly payment plan of $20 that extends for 24 months. T-Mobile lights up its LTE network in seven launch markets

T-Mobile held its Un-carrier press event today and confirmed that it is ready to roll out its LTE network starting today in seven launch markets. The lucky seven includes Las Vegas, NV; Phoenix, AZ; San Jose, CA; Houston, TX; Washington DC;  Kansas City, MO and Baltimore, MD. T-Mobile expects to reach 100 million customers by mid year and 200 million by the end of 2013. T-Mobile to sell the BlackBerry Z10 starting today, March 26

As expected, the BlackBerry Z10 is now available from T-Mobile. The launch of the LTE-enabled handset is timed nicely with the launch of T-Mobile’s LTE network, which goes live in seven launch markets today. The BlackBerry Z10 features a 4.2-inch display with 1280×768 resolution (356ppi), dual core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1800mAh battery, and both HSPA+ and LTE connectivity. T-Mobile announces the LTE-enabled Sonic 2.0 mobile hotspot

Along with its new LTE network, T-Mobile also announced two devices that’ll support the company’s new 4G LTE network. Besides the high-profile BlackBerry Z10, the carrier will also sell the Sonic 2.0 mobile hotspot. T-Mobile officially unveils new no-contract Simple Choice plan

T-Mobile is aiming to shake up the wireless industry in the US with a new non-contract option for its customers. This new Simple Choice plan allows customers to bring their own device or buy one through T-Mobile and add a plan without signing a contract. This no-contract plan starts with a $50 monthly base plan that includes 500 MB of  data and unlimited calls and texts. Customers can add 2GB increments of data for $10 each.
