T-Mobile launch of Galaxy S4 delayed until April 29

According to a report in TmoNews, the launch of the Galaxy S4 on T-Mobile has been delayed.  The Galaxy S4 was supposed to go on sale starting tomorrow, but a problem with inventory forced T-Mobile to hold off selling the phone until next week. The wireless carrier made the following statement: We know customers are really looking forward to getting their new Samsung Galaxy S 4 soon. T-Mobile to Bundle Tethering Features With Unlimited Data Plans April 24th?

TmoNews has obtained a screenshot that shows that T-Mobile is upping the ante with its pre-paid Value and Classic Simple Choice Plans by including its tethering feature in its Unlimited Data Plans. Currently, customers who have a Value or Classic Simple Choice Plan must pay extra to add SMHS, or Smartphone Mobile HotSpot functionality to its smartphones. ACLU Asks FTC to Investigate Carriers Over Security Risks, Delayed Android Updates

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) issued a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Wednesday. In it they contend that Mobile Carriers are creating security risks for their customers by not releasing updates in a timely manner. As anyone still suffering with an ancient version of Android can tell you, carriers can take their time to push new Android updates even when the manufacturer has completed it, and there’s a point where a phone model will be completely left behind, often long before the end of its contract. T-Mobile to sell the Galaxy S4 for $149 down, starting April 24

T-Mobile announced today that it will start selling Samsung’s Galaxy S4 handset starting April 24 online and in stores on May 1st. Customers can pair the device with a Simple Choice plan for just $149.99 down and $20 monthly payments for 24 months. The handset will include a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED (1920 x 1080) display, a a 13-megapixel camera and support for T-Mobile’s flavor of 4G LTE. T-Mobile Confirms HTC One Availability for April 24th

Leaked Photos Show Possible April 24th HTC One Release on T-Mobile

T-Mobile customers who have been salivating for the HTC One were thrown a couple of bones today, and they’re pretty juicy ones too. Leaked Document Shows Samsung Galaxy S 4 Availability on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon

While we were all enjoying our weekend, a leaked document showing the possible availability dates of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 wiggled its way into the limelight.
