AT&T has released a small, bug-fixing update for the HTC One X+, bringing the firmware version to 1.19.502.1. Sadly, the new software doesn’t include Android 4.2, but you’ll get Address Book, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi tweaks, as well as other minor bug fixes. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) issued a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Wednesday. In it they contend that Mobile Carriers are creating security risks for their customers by not releasing updates in a timely manner. It didn’t take long for Facebook Home to run for the border and make itself a niche in Canada, and it appears to have set sail for the UK as well! Beginning today, AT&T owners of the LG Escape can finally proudly stand up and exclaim, “Life is Good.” The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is rolling out today for the device, which will bring with it all of the Android Jelly Bean goodies such as Google Now, expanded notifications and Project Butter. The full retail launch of the Galaxy S4 is right around the corner, and AT&T is early out of the gates with its pre-order page for the handset. The page for the 16GB White Frost version is live on AT&T’s website, and according to Engadget, AT&T is accepting orders for some folks. While we were all enjoying our weekend, a leaked document showing the possible availability dates of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 wiggled its way into the limelight. The LG Optimus G Pro could very well be making its way to the U.S. soon, according to Android Central. The 5.5-inch model will likely be coming to AT&T, launching on May 10th. Wi-Fi roaming provider Boingo Wireless is teaming-up with AT&T to allow the carrier’s customers using the AT&T Wi-Fi International app to access Wi-Fi hotspots all around the world.
