Verizon Wireless Droid 4 finally getting Jelly Bean update

Remember the Droid 4? It launched last year with Android 2.3 and was updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. Now another bump up in the Android OS software for the phone is coming down the pike. Motorola RAZR D1 and RAZR D3 announced for Brazil

Motorola unveiled a pair of RAZR smartphones for the ever-growing mobile market of Brazil. The RAZR D1 and D3 won’t satisfy high-end users’ appetites but will still provide a solid bang for the buck. The lower-end model, D1, comes with a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 3.5-inch screen, 1785mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot. Unannounced Motorola phone gets a hands-on, probably isn’t X phone

The people over at Tinhte got their hands on a mysterious Motorola phone that hasn’t been rumored or leaked via imagery in any way, yet the device sat in someone’s hands for a quite some time for showcase. You’ll notice on the bottom in small print the device reads “Motorola Confidential Property.” That didn’t work out too well, apparently. The handset looks somewhat cheap and has matching specs to further that impression. Google laying off as much as 10% more Motorola employees

It looks like Google may be looking to make some more job cuts at Motorola. When the acquisition of Motorola Mobility was officially a done deal, it was announced that quite a few job cuts were impeding. Google hired former Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki to help it turn around the former giant Motorola.
