Contact UsSamsung has started production of the new high-speed low power DDR3 (LPDDR3) RAM for mobile devices. The new chips are based on 20-nm process while apparently capable of achieving performance levels comparable to RAM found on computers. The 4Gb RAM can transmit data up to 2,133 megabits per second (Mbps) per pin, which is much more than existing LPDDR2 (800Mbps). Moreover, the new DRAM is also more power efficient, consuming 20% less power. Samsung will offer OEMs a 2GB package with four chips stacked together that have a height of … Read more
Companies who pay celebrities to tweet about their device need to do some screening before turning these folks loose on the internet. In yet another well-intentioned, but embarrassing tweet, Spanish tennis player David Ferrer crooned about his Galaxy S4 using an iPhone. The tweet said Ferrer said was “configuring S Health on my new #GalaxyS4 to help with training @SamsungMobile,” but the tagline on the tweet shows that it originated not from an Android app, but from “Twitter for iPhone.” This isn’t the first time such a public faux pas … Read more
These days, it’s not easy to fulfill all Galaxy S4 pre-orders… Because of limited supply, Best Buy is asking some (though not all) users to wait for 2 to 3 weeks to get their shiny new gadget. Here’s the email electronics retailer is sending to users who pre-ordered Sammy’s super-phone: We’re sorry, but the fulfillment of your recent pre-order is taking longer than expected. We expect it to arrive between May 9 and May 20. To keep you informed of its delivery, we’ll send tracking information once the item has … Read more
Users of Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S4 have been prompted to update their beloved super-phone by downloading the 24MB-heavy file. Build L720VPUAMDL is pushing out to SGS4 owners as we speak, but unfortunately we’re not sure what kind of feature tweaks it brings to the mix. That said, we’re betting it will fix some of the known bugs, update few apps and make for an overall improved experience. Despite the fact that we’re talking about a small update with (likely) negligent enhancements, we advise you to get it. It’s a good … Read more
Samsung is known for the elaborate shows that it uses to introduce a new device, and the Galaxy S4 is no exception. The Korean manufacturer put on a Broadway show in the US for the S4, and now the manufacturer is reviving Psy and his Gangnam style hit for the Galaxy S4 launch in India. As shown in the video below, this isn’t your everyday version of Gangnam style, it’s an interesting (embarrassing?) rendition that promotes the specs of the Galaxy S4 phone. Check it out and share your comments … Read more
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has some impressive software, but it comes with a price. It seems that Samsung’s software takes up about half of the 16GB models storage space, leaving users with only about 8.82GB of available storage. Of course, you could always expand the storage of your unit via the microSD slot, as the Galaxy S4 is expandable up to 64GB. The apps that take up 45% of usable storage on the device are Samsung apps such as ChatOn messaging, S Health, S Travel, Group Play, Dual Camera, Samsung … Read more

New rumors are suggesting that Samsung will be releasing three new tablets later this year, the next iteration of Google’s Nexus tablets, as well as one of their own design. With the recent announcement of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 and the release of the Galaxy S4, this news proves that the South Korean giant is by no means slowing down when it comes to the production of hot new devices. According to SamMobile, Samsung will be releasing three new tablets later this year, two of them in the 11 inch … Read more
Smartphone drop tests are done to show the durability of one smartphone pitted against another, but they’re also pretty darn fun to watch. This time around, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is put against Apple’s iPhone 5. The results may sound a bit obvious given the build materials on each device, but the results are given through some rather extreme tests. Chances are that if you accidentally drop either of these phones out of your pocket that they will still be able to hold their own, but hopefully you don’t … Read more

If you’re in the UK and want to grab the hot new Samsung Galaxy S4, we may have something for you. Don’t look at major networks – TalkTalk has a low-cost plan that will give you Sammy’s flagship for free with 30 GBP/month tariff. That money, however, gets you just 100 voice minutes + 500 minutes to call TalkTalk Mobiles, 250 texts and 200MB of data. Yeah, that’s not much, but it doesn’t cost a fortune, either. Alternatively, there are 35 GBP/month option that includes 550 minutes, 3,000 texts and … Read more
