White LG Optimus LTE 2 caught in the wild

Although the Optimus LTE 2 is still a Korea only device, LG is already working on the white version, teasing the rest of the world with this gorgeous phone. As you can see from the image above, the Optimus LTE 2 in white looks like the white LG Optimus L7 smartphone, though I’m sure you can argue that most modern phones look the same. Anyway, aside from the new paint job, the phone remains the same under the hood, boasting a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB Read more

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL visits FCC on its way to AT&T?

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL has been caught at the FCC, where we’re sure government paid engineers are playing with it as we speak. This isn’t the hot Infinity version — which comes with a full HD screen — but the model 300 that uses plastic rather than aluminum shell. However, it still has the horsepower needed to make things run smoothly. The good great news is that this particular Transformer Pad not only has a 3G radio, but also a 4G/LTE one – both of which are made to sing Read more

File this under rumors, but it’s likely that some retailers in Canada will get the sexy new Samsung smartphone before carriers get their hands on it. The official word from the Korean company is that the new device is coming “this summer” but that’s pretty vague, leaving a ton of room for speculation. MobileSyrup got hold of a leaked ad — which was pulled later on — suggesting that Best Buy may get a head start. Future Shop also said it will have the Galaxy S III as soon as Read more

Instead of making its own app store for Android users, U.S. Cellular has turned to Amazon for help. When U.S. Cellular customers open the Amazon Appstore on most Android-powered devices, they will see a new U.S. Cellular tab, which suggests apps that are pre-selected and approved by U.S. Cellular. Among the applications users will be able to grab from here are Read more
