Deals on previous-gen iPhone devices are popping up like mad these days. First, we heard that TELUS was going live with the 8 GB iPhone 3GS. From there, the same device hit Fido, and just yesterday Rogers packed the 8 GB iPhone 3GS as well. Consider July the official month for Canadian carriers to clear out their old iPhone inventory!
With that in mind, today we learn that Bell has the 8 GB iPhone 3GS up for grabs too. Guess they didn’t want to be left out of the party. Pricing on the Bell 3GS? You’re looking at $99.95 on a 3-year agreement (this is the only option). That’s a whopping 95 cents more than the price you’ll find at Rogers and Fido 😛
If you’re considering picking up a 3GS for your mobile arsenal, I suggest you do so before the end of the month. The iPhone 4 is going to hit Canada hard, and by that time the supply of the 3GS (and 3G for that matter) should be dwindling to a precious few. That said, Virgin Mobile hasn’t launched any 3GS love for us just yet, so there should still be a number of older iPhones available to grab. This is just a heads’ up for ya though… True, prices will continue to drop, but as they do, so will supply. Good luck finding the ‘sweet spot’ if you are in the market for a 3GS.
