With over 4 million downloads as of December last year, Parachute Panic is one of the most popular iPhone games ever. It is also coming pre-loaded on the Samsung Wave (at least I got it), and now it’s heading to the mass market, courtesy of Connect2Media. The gaming publisher plans to launch the game for the Java ME-enabled feature phones at some point in “later 2010″…
The goal of Parachute Panic is to save as many parachuters as possible. You do that by drawing the wind and tapping the characters to open their parachutes as they try to safely land on a boat (and avoid being eaten by the sharks). Along the way, you will encounter aliens, helicopters and unfriendly clouds, all of which should be avoided or destroyed by tapping on them in order to save your stickmen.
It may sound dull, but it really isn’t. After all, not many other iPhone games have been downloaded for that many times as Parachute Panic…
