Today, Samsung is scheduled to unveil some of their next-generation Android goodies (Verizon Samsung Continuum, and maybe some Android 2.3 Gingerbread) at a press conference in New York City. We have our boots on the ground, ready to find out what, exactly, Samsung has in store for us. We’re expecting to see the smartphone maker showing off their latest Android superphone, the Samsung Continuum, which is slated for a November 11 arrival on Verizon. And, if we’re lucky enough, we could very well get a first-look at the upcoming Android 2.3 Gingerbread update from Google. Seeing as how we’re hearing that Gingerbread will go live in the very near future, it’s very possible that the Continuum will sport the latest Google mobile OS version.
