ZTE will launch two new Android smartphones in the UK soon. We’re talking about low-to-mid range devices that promise to bring Android to the mainstream consumer.
The first of the two is ZTE Libra which comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen, 600MHz processor, FM radio and 512MB of RAM, while Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show. The second device, ZTE Tureis, comes with a full QWERTY keyboard making it ideal for heavy texters and folks who like to keep up with their e-buddies while on the go. Specs wise, Tureis has a 2.6-inch QVGA display and slightly faster (than the one Libra has) processor, clocking at 800MHz. In addition, both devices rock HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack and a memory card slot. All said, I would expect these two to be offered for next to nothing on any decent contract that includes mobile data.
Finally, we have a short hands-on video of the Tureis to show you, compliments of Clove. Enjoy!
