Ever since Agent Squeek… I mean, Spy Mouse was announced back in March, there hasn’t been a lot of information regarding the title. All we know is it’s a Firemint game, which if you’ve spent countless hours playing Flight Control or Real Racing, you know it means it’ll almost be a guaranteed hit. That all changes today as Firemint has released a ton of screenshots as well as the first gameplay video showing Spy Mouse in action.
As you’ll see in the screens and video, Spy Mouse is a top-down strategy-action game where you draw a line on the playing field in order to give Spy Mouse orders on where to go. His mission is to collect all of the cheese within a stage without being captured by enemy cats, who may or may not be secret agents themselves. Spy Mouse will release with 72 levels to play through across six different worlds.
Spy Mouse looks to be well on its way for its promised “Summer 2011” release date judging by these new assets. Seeing as there’s one month of summer left, we can’t wait until Firemint releases its latest and greatest on iOS and beyond.
