We’ve been keeping a close eye on Gameloft’s Modern Combat 3 ever since the company announced the game was in development in August, even getting some hands-on time with the game a couple of weeks back. It looks like the wait is finally over as Gameloft’s Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation has been released onto the App Store.
Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation offers a huge improvement over Modern Combat 2 in a number of ways, one of which is most obvious is its graphics, both in-game and its cut-scenes. The game offers 13 single-player missions and you can take your fight online with up to 12 players across 6 maps in 6 different multiplayer modes.
One major improvement in Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation has been to its multiplayer portion as you’ll now be able to rank up with over 90 ranks to achieve. You’ll also be able to unlock new weapons, perks, and attachements to be used in multiplayer mode. If you’re a fan of the Call of Duty franchise, then you should be very familiar with Modern Combat 3’s multiplayer mode.
As I mentioned above, there are now 6 different multiplayer modes to play: Battle, Team Battle, Capture the Flag, Manhunt, Zone Control, Destruction, and Bomb Squad. Each mode has their own sets of rules and any FPS fan will easily find their favorite mode to play in.
If you consider yourself an FPS fan, especially a fan of the Call of Duty and Battlefield series, then this would be a great game to add to your iOS library as shooting up enemies in a modern warfare setting as you commute to work is a great thing.
