Boost Mobile Launches ‘Re-Boost’ Facebook App

Boost Mobile has just hooked-up with Facebook to allow consumers to refill their accounts while chatting it up with buddies. The Re-Boost Facebook app is the first application to be launched by a U.S. mobile carrier that allows customers to add funds directly to their wireless account via Facebook.

Now the even cooler part about this neat app is what it does, not only can you add money to your Boost Mobile account via FB, but you can ask for a Re-Boost gift from your network of friends. Being able to mooch off of your friends for some extra dough to reload your phone is pretty awesome. Other noteworthy features include the following:

  • Request a Re-Boost gift by sending a customized email to a friend
  • Send a Re-Boost gift to a fellow Boost Mobile Facebook subscriber
  • Review the last 10 transactions (Facebook Re-Boost requests and gifts).

This is a unique way of not only interacting with current customers, but potentially gaining new customers, so hats off to Boost Mobile. If you’re a Boost Mobile subscriber out there, you can snatch the Re-Boost app off Facebook by simply entering “Boost” in the search bar and selecting the “Re-Boost” application from the search results.
