After the iPhone, m-commerce app builder MobiCart is extending its service to more devices – Android and the new iPad, all with the support for the gorgeous Retina Display and a magazine-like flick-style navigation.

MobiCart, in case you don’t know, provides affordable solution for mobile shopping by offering retailers a way of creating customized m-commerce apps. Using their API, in a few simple steps retailers can transform their e-commerce store into an m-commerce app, eventually expanding their reach to the growing army of smartphone and tablet users.

This year, the company secured an additional $150,000 investment from Northstar Venture to fund future development and is currently closing another round of funding.

Commenting on the news, MobiCart director Wladimir Baranoff-Rossine said: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Android and New iPad platforms after months of hard work from our team. This now means MobiCart’s app builder can be used on the majority of mobile phones and is great news for retailers as it means their products can reach a bigger market by being available to a wider audience.”
