TuneWiki released updated versions of its Spotify web app and Android mobile app, designed to “make discovering and sharing lyrics a truly social experience.” The new version of the TuneWiki Spotify app comes with the following new features:

  • Social lyric sharing – allows users to share their favorite lyrics or songs by simply selecting the lyrics they like and clicking the share button.
  • Dedications – so you can dedicate songs to your friends while listening to a song. Click the dedicate button, select your mood, write a custom message, and you just dedicated a song!
  • Trending lyrics – from where you can check out the conversations happening in TuneWiki for the songs you’re playing.
  • Facebook Open Graph – enables TuneWiki listeners to share their favorite lyrics, songs, and music on Facebook directly through the TuneWiki social music player.

As for the Android app (the part we care about more), it is built off Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich platform, improving performance and speed to make it “optimized for the best Android user experience.”
