Audi owners now able to get Internet in their cars from T-Mobile USA for $15 per month

T-Mobile USA is launching a new, affordable data plan for Audi vehicle owners, allowing them to get real-time news, weather and fuel prices, access to Google Earth and Google Voice Local Search while driving. The carrier’s service connects to the Audi connect infotainment and navigation system to create an in-vehicle Wi-Fi network that allows up to 8 devices to connect to the Internet at the same time.

With this plan, new and existing owners of cars equipped with Audi connect can pay $450 at any time to receive full data services over 30 months, which is $15 per month… or less if you got the six-month free trial with the car purchase. Alternatively, there’s a $30 per month option if you get a month-to-month Audi connect service plan.

So if you’re a proud owner of a brand new Audi car, you may want to extend your Internet addiction for those moments when you should be focused on the road ahead, rather than latest news coming from the Interwebs. Weather and fuel price information can be useful, though… Here are two clips demoing Audi connect in action. Enjoy!
