Acer has unveiled the Acer Iconia A1 today, packing a quad-core 1.2GHz MediaTek processor and a 7.9-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 768 screen resolution. The tablet will be available in June in two versions, one with 8GB of storage and one with 16GB. The 16Gb version will retail for $199.99, and the 8GB version will run $169.99.

The Acer Iconia A1 has a sleek design, weighing only .90 pounds and touting a thickness of .44 inches. The tablet features a 5MP rear facing camera, as a front facing camera. It will be running on Android Jelly Bean, and also includes a microSD slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. Also included in the Iconia A1 is Acer’s new Touch WakeApp, which allows users easy access to apps upon waking the device from sleep.
