The Neo 11 Ultra is a battery monster in a flagship suit
The Neo 11 Ultra is the one stealing the spotlight here. iQOO has confirmed a 2K flat 6.83-inch display, which is a solid size without going full phablet territory. The 9,100mAh battery is the headline number and a first for the Neo series. But big battery phones used to mean slow charging and a brick-like feel, so it matters that iQOO is also putting 100W wired charging in the box. That should keep top-up times reasonable.
The phone also gets a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is the premium option you usually only see on top-tier flagships. And iQOO is throwing in IP68 and IP69 ratings, so this thing can handle being submerged and hit with high-pressure water. That’s a proper durability story, not just a checkbox feature. The company is also talking up eye comfort improvements and network stability, which sounds like marketing speak until you realize those things actually matter for daily use.
Design-wise, iQOO went with a horizontal dual-camera layout, with both rear cameras sitting side by side and the flash placed separately to the right. It looks clean and a bit different from the stacked circular modules everyone else is doing. It also has a 6.83-inch screen, but with a focus on display quality for everyday users. iQOO is combining full-brightness DC-like dimming with 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and the phone carries SGS certifications for low blue light and low flicker. If you spend hours looking at your screen, that’s actually a meaningful spec to pay attention to.
The design is different from the Neo 11 Ultra. The Z11S has a vertical dual-camera setup inside a rectangular module, with the flash sitting beside it. Color options so far look like White, Black, and a pale Green.
Here’s where things get interesting. The Z11S is believed to be the V2603A model that showed up on Geekbench running a Dimensity 7500 chip with 12GB of RAM and Android 16. A 44W charger has also appeared in 3C certification filings. iQOO hasn’t confirmed any of this yet, but those leaks are usually reliable. And if this phone really does hit 10,000mAh as suggested, that would be a genuinely rare spec at the mid-range price point.
Why this launch actually matters
Battery capacity has become the new camera megapixel race. Brands know that consumers are exhausted by phones that die by mid-afternoon, so everyone is scaling up.
