Contact UsWe reported last week on the fate of the Nexus Q. The excellent Google Play Music update with all of its streaming content isn’t compatible with the Nexus Q device, effectively making it useless as a media (or at least music) streaming orb and leaving it essentially broken. The Q was introduced at last year’s Google I/O and was designed to allow you to stream content from your phone or tablet to your TV. After the device failed to garner much interest from consumers and had some initial problems, Google postponed … Read more

While we didn’t see any substantial Android updates or a new Nexus phone at Google I/O yesterday, Android and Me was able to get its hands on the elusive white Nexus 4. Spec wise, the white Nexus 4 is the same as the black Nexus 4, and it will be available for purchase in the Google Play Store on June 10th. Toronto Creative Agency Playground Inc. released a concept video this week that shows off their ideas of what the next iteration of Google Glass could look like. While a sophomore version of Glass is, at very least, a long way off, it’s fun to imagine the potential for the future of the wearable tech. There are definitely some great ideas in this video, most of which seem like they wouldn’t be too far-fetched for the current hardware if tethered to a phone. In fact, a lot of the features in this … Read more
The poor Nexus Q hasn’t been getting much love from Google lately, and may never get any going forward. We recently reported that it wouldn’t get any mention at Google I/O, and now it’s being denied the latest update to Google Play Music and its “All Access” music streaming services. Phandroid received confirmation from a Google liason named Paul that the Nexus Q would not be getting the upgrade: Thanks for taking the time to report this issue. As you noticed, the latest version of Google Play Music isn’t compatible with … Read more

Tap a specific result and that’s where you’ll notice some more changes. Maps now has built-in Zagat integration, which will put Zagat scores and editorial … Read more

We’ve been talking to our devices for a while and but never in such a conversational way, and never with such powerful results. Also, Google … Read more
