Vivo can’t stop, won’t stop. The company just pushed out the V70 FE, and now it’s already cooking up the next one. The Vivo V80 Lite has shown up on both Geekbench and TUV certification listings, and based on what’s been revealed, this phone is closer to launch than you might think.
The Geekbench listing shows the device running under model number V2626, scoring 937 in single-core and 2,654 in multi-core tests. Those aren’t numbers that are going to make flagship fans sweat, but for a mid-range phone, they’re perfectly fine. More interesting is the processor listed. Geekbench tags the CPU as MediaTek MT6858, which is technically the Dimensity 7100, but the GPU’s maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz and the listed Mali-G610 MC2 graphics point to the Dimensity 7300e. That chip recently showed up in the Vivo Y600 Pro, and it looks like an overclocked take on the 7100. So yes, Vivo is essentially reusing silicon here, but the 7300e is a capable chip for everyday use. Scrolling, multitasking, social media, casual gaming — it handles all of that without drama.
The phone is also confirmed to be running Android 16 at launch, which is a win. Getting the latest Android version out of the box matters, especially when you’re asking people to spend real money on a device.
On the hardware side, the TUV certification confirms 44W fast charging support for the same V2626 model. That’s a decent speed for this price tier. Not blazing fast, but it’ll top you up quickly enough that you won’t be clock-watching every morning.
The device has also appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM listing and Europe’s EEC certification database. Interestingly, the EEC entry mentions a second model number, V2630, which suggests Vivo might be selling this phone under different variants depending on the region. That’s pretty standard practice for brands with wide global distribution, but it also means specs could vary slightly by market.
Worth keeping in mind is that the V80 Lite’s predecessor, the V70 Lite, never actually made it to India. So Indian buyers shouldn’t get too attached just yet. Vivo has a habit of keeping some V series models region-specific, and the V80 Lite could follow the same pattern.
What we do know about the V series is that design is always a priority. Vivo has consistently used these phones to experiment with finishes, colors, and form factors that appeal to style-conscious buyers. So even if the internals are fairly predictable, the V80 Lite will likely look good doing its thing.
Pricing is still unknown, but with memory costs still elevated across the industry, don’t expect this one to come in cheap. The V70 Lite was already priced at a premium in markets where it launched, and the V80 Lite will probably follow suit. Here’s a quick look at what we know so far:

Battery size, display specs, camera setup, RAM and storage options, and of course, the price. None of that is confirmed yet. Until we get the full picture, this is a phone to watch, not one to pre-order in your head just yet.
